At Lifestyle & Social, we help NDIS participants build the confidence, independence, and social connection to live purposeful and fulfilling lives rich with experiences.

We specialise in supporting participants with autism and intellectual disability, offering safe, reliable, and personalised support in the home, community, and social environments.

With almost 10 years experience, families and coordinators trust Lifestyle and Social because we show up, we communicate, and we get results.

We have a consistent team of dedicated support workers who have chosen long term careers in caring for those in need. Continuity of care and proper matching of staff to participants is our priority.

We foster a collaborative relationship with allied health and behavioural support teams to enable development of person centred support plans and staff training resources to provide an informed and high quality of service.

Coordinators and therapy team members working with Lifestyle and Social can choose to receive quarterly progress reports which provides tracking of participant goals, patterns and incident reporting, as well as support strategy reviews.

Our programs create genuine friendships, social connection, and enjoyment through movement, cooking, games, learning, and shared experiences. We provides opportunities to engage in an inclusive community where people living with disability feel they belong.

We focus on support that builds real independence and everyday living skills. With personalised support plans, participants can work towards their goals. Our staff specialise in supporting and coaching:

  • Daily living and selfcare routines

  • Social skills and maintaining friendships

  • Travel training and confidence in community spaces

  • Safety skills and risk awareness

  • Cooking, nutrition and healthy habits

  • Exploring movement and active lifestyle choices

  • Work readiness and work experience

An NDIS Support Worker provides practical and emotional support to help people with disability live more independently at home and in the community.

Support may include personal care, household tasks, transport, skill development, community participation, and assistance with health appointments.

Support workers also offer encouragement, build confidence, and help participants develop the skills and connections needed for a safe, meaningful, and independent life.

One-to-One Support

Let’s kick some goals together!

Our dedicated team of support professionals is here to provide one-on-one assistance, working closely with you to identify your strengths, challenges, and aspirations.

Whether it’s help with routines at home, building life skills, attending appointments, or getting out into the community, our support workers offer calm, reliable, and respectful support that promotes confidence, independence, and choice.

Social Groups

Carrington Social Hub and Excursions

Our Carrington Social Club offers welcoming and structured social groups where participants can connect, learn, and have fun together. Activities include shared meal preparation, computer and board games, and regular community activities such as lawn bowls, fishing, and local outings. These groups foster friendships, teamwork, and social confidence in a relaxed and supportive environment away from home.

Lifestyle Support

Accessing your community

Building overall capacity is best achieved by helping people do more of what they enjoy and discovering new interests along the way. We support participants to explore hobbies, passions, and experiences such as attending events, art, travelling, playing in a team, tertiary education, music, or creative projects.

Life is about creating meaningful experiences that enrich everyday life and support achieving your goals.

1-to-1 or Group Supports

Movement Programs

Our movement programs support participants to stay active in ways that feel safe, achievable, and enjoyable. This includes supported gym sessions, golf groups, walking groups, and exploring different ways to move the body that suit individual abilities and preferences.

We can help you focus on practical ways to stay active, feel good, and build confidence in a supportive environment.
